Imagine being told that you have cancer: coming to terms with this news can be overwhelming, confusing and scary. There is still a lot to learn and making sure that a person with cancer is able to access the right support and accurate, user-friendly information is important.
Recognising the importance of empowering the community with accurate information and support, the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens stages district awareness meetings and clinics throughout the month of October.
At each awareness meeting Doctors and other medical personnel are able to educate the community with cutting-edge information.
